The Belgian Cafe is first choice for Seafood Restaurants on Eastbourne Seafront.
We are famed for our freshly prepared seafood specialities, including 50 different ways to enjoy mussels, and our amazing selection of over 50 Belgian beers.
Situated on Eastbourne Seafront’s Grand Parade with views of the pier and out towards Beachy Head, the Belgian Cafe is the perfect place to dine al fresco during the day or experience the relaxed atmosphere inside.
Established in 1999, the Belgian Cafe (formerly Cafe Belge) is an award-winning restaurant offering fine a la carte dining with exceptional service – not only the best of seafood dishes, but also a great selection of meat and poultry dishes, salads and vegetarian options. We also have a children's menu for the under 12s. Our dessert range is to die for, including several Belgian specialities, such as the Ultimate Belgian Chocolate Mousse.
In addition to our Belgian beers, we offer an extensive wine list, aperitifs, liqueurs and other spirits, including Belgian Schnapps, and soft drinks.

We also have a number of set menus for birthday and anniversary parties, wedding receptions and business lunches. Free wi-fi connection is available.
Our regular special live music events held on every Fridays throughout the year, between 7.30pm and 10.30pm, are extremely popular and create a great atmosphere.
We aim to give all our customers a really enjoyable dining experience. Items don’t stand still at the Belgian Cafe. We are regularly adding exciting new things to our repertoire to keep our customers happy.
Our food is freshly prepared for each order and at busy times this may cause a delay (for which we apologise in advance), but we assure you our food is always worth waiting for. The popularity of our restaurant is testament to this.

11am to 9.30pm (last order 9.30pm, restaurant close at 11pm)
Saturday 9.30am to 10pm (last order 10.00pm, restaurant close at 11.30pm)
